Can I have more than one blocked quote in an answer

I have just been responding to the question on M4M. For the first time I have used the block quote function for quotes from another website. I have managed to block quote the first quote but everytime I try to block quote the second quote internet explorer crashes. Is this because I can't block quote more than one quote or is it another problem?

Yes you can

but

you have to put some regular text to break the quotes in 2
