I was just wondering about how helpful the widget/section "Toy and Children s Product recalls" is and if the current format is the most appropriate for the site. I have just realized I look at the list but reading it seems hard. This could be because the product description is a bit long and the same font colour is used to describe the Brand name, the article and a brief explanation of the problem.

As a thought, would it make sense to ask them to use a different colour font for the brand names? So that parents/users of Moms4mom can directly see whether they need to read up on any recalled articles easier, and in less time. Could this or other small changes improve the function of this widget/section?

Great question. I'd be interested in hearing how many people use it first of all, and then we can look at changing the format if necessary.

I was unaware that there was recall section on Moms4moms. After reading this question on Meta I went looking for the recall section. I still was unable find after trying to search on recalls. It was not until I scrolled around the page that I realised a box that I always thought of as advertising, and so ignored, was the recall box. I think it is good idea for have a recall section. My suggestion is to add a question in the FAQ section about the recall section and where it is so that it appears when a person searches on recalls.

Great answer. Sounds like it really should be customized to match the coloring so that it's identifiable as part of the site, not advertising.

Ok, I made it look a little different... hopefully that's better. I'll also add an FAQ question about it.
