I am wondering whether "Country Tags" could help get quicker and more helpful answers for specific questions that are location based...I have noticed that only New Zealand has been tagged to date. The recent question by Scott Morrison is a good example for what I mean.

Good idea. Perhaps we should encourage country tags or region tags, depending on how specific the location is needed. Eg. US, EU, AT. We should use the internet-TLD abbreviations, I think.

Regional sounds good too.

It's certainly do-able. BasicallyMoney.com did it. I'll see...

There are also United-Kingdom, United-States, and Canada tags created as I have added them to country specific questions in the past.

Oh yes, I just saw them. What you have done makes a great deal of sense to me.
