Bug report: text entry on iOS devices causes the page to scroll to the top

On my iPad as well as my iPod it is next to impossible to enter text; whenever i type in the text entry fields either to ask or answer a question the page scrolls to the top of the view, hiding the entry field (which retains focus, oddly enough!)

Hi Char. Are you having the same problem on this meta site? Also, do you have the same problem on, say, http://money.stackexchange.com/ ?

Sorry for the frustration. You're experiencing a bug in OSQA that impacts iphone and ipad users. We are aware of it and will eventually fix it, but there is no workaround at present.

I discussed the issue with StackOverflow LLC (on the main site) and they said it can be worked around with some JavaScript that disables the WMD editor and leaves just a regular text box. I'm not sure if that helps.
