What changed when moms4mom moved hosting providers on February 5th, 2011?

Moms4mom started as a StackExchange 1.0 site. When StackExchange 2.0 was launched, all existing sites were given up to 1 year to decide if they wanted to merge the site into the StackExchange 2.0 network, or to find another hosting provider. Our deadline was April of 2011. After much thought, we decided to find another host.

As of February 5, 2011, we have moved to DreamHost for our hosting, and we decided to use the open source Q&A platform OSQA to run the site. We've done a lot of work to make the site look & feel the same as the original site, but you will notice some differences:

• Comments can now be edited
• We can now change a comment into an answer, or an answer into a comment
• What we used to call "flagging" a post is now called "reporting"
  
• You now have more email notification options (go to your account and use the User Tools drop down). Please note that you must enable email notification at the bottom of the email notification page.
• You can now use your Twitter or Facebook accounts to login to moms4mom (will be setup shortly)

There are some known issues with the conversion:

• You can't edit existing answers (I'm working with the programmers on this)
• Some badges don't have an equivalent in the new site, so you still have them, but they say "Unknown"
• If you were using a username/password login, it may not transfer over the password. You can still login with OpenID, but if you need to, just email me and I'll reset your password.
