I am wondering why the '0' answers box is so different in colour and shade in respect to the other boxes. In addition to it being pale the colour for the '0' and the word 'answer' is also in white making it impossible to see.

I think that was part of the default OSQA style so that it highlighted questions with zero answers. I changed the style so it matches the "answered but not accepted" style. Hopefully that works better.

Do you think we should highlight questions with no answers?

I think that highlighting questions with no answers is a good idea.... perhaps it just needs to be part of the colour palette that moms4mom uses already maybe? For example the orange tone works really well in highlighting number of views whereas (in my opinion) the red tone showing # of answers and questions asked on the righthand side doesn't work as well.
