We launched the Moms4mom Newsletter about two months ago. We haven't received much feedback, either positive or negative. People haven't been rushing to unsubscribe either. We see it fulfilling the same purpose as a blog, but it's a little more traditional.

We want to know your feelings: Does the newsletter provide more value? Do you want to keep it around? Do you think that a blog would be a better format?

I think it's a nice thing. Keep it. As long as people don't complain :)

I believe it's a good thing to keep it a little more traditional, as following a blog (RSS) requires more "internet-savvy" as reading emails.

I also like the newsletter, but personally I would like to see a bit more statistical information included. I am not too sure if this is possible or not, or whether others would be interested to see that info..(how about updates for user numbers, breakdown of per country and even male female ratios, could be fun) Could this be included in every 3rd or 4th Newsletter if it were feasible for instance?

We can definitely get per-country data, number of visitors, pageviews, etc., but male/female would be difficult to do automatically.

I get the feeling forwarding a newsletter which contains a little info about the site could generate more interest in the site and pave the way for a larger and more diverse user base (other professionals who are also parents but not from the IT sector...)
